Connection Form

The Connection Form allows you to modify your connection to the server.

• Hostname/IP Address: The hostname or (preferably) IP address of the server the MySQL database is running on (and where these docs are installed).
• Port: The port the MySQL database is listening on. It should probably be left at its default setting.
• Username: A valid user registered with the database who has permission to access and modify the hmdb table in the database.
  Note: this bears no relation to a program user.
• Password: The user account's password.

If you bring up the connection form after the program has been launched, only a program administrator can modify the connection information."
